So why not start with the top toys chosen by leading toy experts of the Toy Industry Association. Here are this year's winner and nominees in the infant and preschool toy division. Weebles Weebly Wobbly Treehouse Cost: $40-45 Manufacturer: Playskool This year's winner was the Weebles Weebly Wobbly Treehouse. It is a tree house that comes with its own weebles. Providing them an amazing place to play. The weebles can slide down the slide, visit the crow's nest, or take a ride in the water wheel. As the wheel turns faster the music speeds up. Although be aware that the music is pretty loud and there is no volume control or off switch. Bulls-Eye Bounce and Roll Cost: $35-40 Manufacturer: Playskool Children love games with balls and this one is similar to the skeet arcade game. There are three different levels of play so children in different age groups can all enjoy the game. The child tries to get the ball into one of three holes by bouncing it off a mini trampoline or rolling it up a mini ramp. One great feature is that it folds up for easy storage. Shake 'N Go Speedway Cost: $70-80 Manufacturer: Fisher-Price For boys who love cars this is the ideal track since the cars require minimal coordination to race. You simply shake the cars then place them on the track and watch them go. The electronic sounds report the progress, cheer your favorite, and declare the winner. The track comes with two cars but additional cars can be bought and run on most surfaces, even carpet. Star StationWrite and Learn Letter Book Cost: $20 Manufacturer: V-Tech Electronics This is a great product for the budding reader. The product is a 20-page storybook that allows children to identify words, sounds, letters, numbers, spell, as well as tracing the letters with their fingers. The story comes alive as a narrator reads it aloud and your child interacts with each page.
