A Special 4th of July

The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I just love grilling out and spending the day with family and friends. But my favorite part is the fireworks. I was so glad when our local park decided to still have them, even though we have been experiencing a drought. 4th of July Memories

The 4th of July is truly one of my favorite holidays. I love the memories we create, as we gather in our yard with friends. We always have quite a spread of every kind of meat you can possibly grill, lots of side dishes and at least four different kinds of dessert. The kids jump on the trampoline, ride bikes, hang out in my children’s bedrooms and go to the park. The adults relax and talk, and eventually play a game. Independence Day weekend is when most people participate in parades, host backyard barbecues, and watch fireworks displays. These events can be exciting and fun. Few people realize that in order for these types of celebrations to happen, there must be some form of insurance involved. As a parent of teens, what I am thinking most about with the upcoming 4th of July is what we are going to grill, who is going to come over and if we will get good seats for the fireworks.
