One thing that can be counted on when you have a child or two, is the mountain of “stuff” that comes with them. First there are bottles and diapers and strollers and the like, and then come the toys. The toys never seem to stop coming, birthdays, Christmas, good grades, whatever it is, there always seems to be a toy or ten attached. Blanket & Tiger

When Jessie came to us I had a Lavender Lab in her crib for the soothing scents. The lab cuddled a blue satin blanket. Jessie started snuggling up to the dog because of the blanket. Eventually the blanket came completely off the dog and turned into Blanket that went everywhere with Jessie. The first time Jessie lost Blanket, I think she cleverly put it in the trash without understanding the repercussions of doing that. Are Loveys, Snugglies and Security Blankets Really a Problem?

I want to ask a personal question here—how many of you adults climb into bed and go right to sleep without any sort of rituals or bedtime routines? Can you just lie down and go to sleep easily without going through a routine of brushing teeth or hair, having the lighting just so, or plumping the pillows in a certain way?
