Parents in Denial: Pool Pregnancy

You know you are a parent in denial when...

You insist that your 13-year-old daughter got pregnant from swimming in a hotel pool--ALONE!

No parent wants to think that his or her child is anything less than perfect, but Magdalena Kwiatkowska may want to consider taking off the blinders for a split second before proceeding with her recently filed bizarre lawsuit.

Kwiatkowska says she was forced to hire a lawyer upon returning with her daughter from a lavish holiday at an upscale hotel in Egypt. Apparently, the family returned home with more than a few shiny trinkets from the souvenir shop. Kwiatkowska claims her 13-year-old daughter came back from Egypt expecting a baby.

Magdalena believes her teen conceived from stray sperm after taking a dip in the hotel's mixed pool.

Hence the lawsuit.

A hotel worker told local news reporters: "The mother is adamant that her daughter didn't meet any boys while she was there and is determined to go ahead with the case."

Tourist authorities in Warsaw, Poland, have confirmed they received the bizarre complaint.

So let me get this straight: Kwiatkowska believes that somehow errant sperm, which happened to be randomly floating around the pool, magically penetrated her daughter's swimsuit and implanted themselves in the unsuspecting teen, and now her daughter is about to make her a grandma?

I'm no scientist, but I'm thinking that chlorine and sperm don't exactly yield a powerful fertility cocktail.

Still, Kwiatkowska swears that her daughter is a virgin, and that she did not go near any boys during their vacation, so the super sperm in the pool had to be the reason her teen is with child.

Kwiatkowska's daughter has denied interviews by local news media (gee, I wonder why?). Personally I think her silence speaks volumes. You have to wonder how she must feel about having a mom who would shell out thousands of dollars to protect her "innocence."

Wonder what mama's going to say when/if her theory on the random swimming pool sperm turns out to be all wet?

Thanks for this great article! I enjoyed reading this. Well, parents are really concerned with the welfare of their children. They are responsible for them. But if parents make mistakes, the future of their children would be shattered. Like in the case of the former NFL quarterback Steve McNair. There was a speculation that the murderer of Steve McNair and her mistress Sahel Kazemi was Steve's own wife Mechelle McNair. This not yet in the newspaper but there was a video in the net that Mechelle had confess that she murdered his husband. In the aftermath of tragedy, a lot of people like to pick up on details, like what is going to happen to Steve McNair's sons. There are four of Steve McNair's sons, Steve Jr., Steven, Tyler and Trenton. Steve McNair Jr. is a heavily recruited high school prospect. Although speculation about family affairs of families that are not our own, there are still heavy internet searches for Sahel Kazemi pictures and a Michelle McNair picture or Mechelle McNair picture, depending on what spelling you use, and some people are putting personal loans into coverage of the incident. There's no crystal ball you can buy, even with installment loans that will reveal the future of Steve McNair's sons. She's obviously NOT had the "where babies come from" talk with her daughter ... if she had, she'd know better about the pool and her daughter would've been more prepared to protect herself during the secret "interlude".

Apparently, the stork still delivers babies in Poland. ;-)
