Name: Chandra Wilson Age: 36 Claim To Fame: Wilson plays Dr. Miranda Bailey, affectionately called "The Nazi" on the hit television show "Grey's Anatomy". Mommy Musings: Wilson played a pregnant and now first-time-mom juggling her high-stress career and no-nonsense style of motherhood. We all fell in love with her a little bit more after her character's intense and near-catastrophic childbirth experience showed her soft and vulnerable side. In the real world, Wilson has three children including recently giving birth to a 6lb 14 oz baby boy, Michael, via cesarean section, last fall. Michael is her first son and joins sisters Joy (age 12) and Selena (age 14). The birth of her real life child did not coincide with the birth of her on-screen child which meant a very long stint in a pregnancy suit after her birth - just what every post partum Mom wants! Similarly to her character on the show, Wilson seems to balance it all in a way that is inspirational to moms everywhere. She breastfeeds her son and takes him on the set with her so she is available to him and vice versa. She reportedly loves her Snugli - a real multitasker's dream tool. Perhaps she does this even more gracefully than her character on the show! Beyond Babies: Grey's Anatomy may be her current claim to fame but it is far from Chandra Wilson's only acting accomplishment. Wilson is a Houston Texas native who began her career performing in musicals at the age of five. As an adult, Wilson has had many guest roles on prime time television shows, starred in the hit series "Bob Patterson, appeared in many television commercials and held supporting roles in a few big screen movies as well. Of course Wilson also has several stage credits to her name including a portrayal of Bonna Willis in the production of 'The Good Times are Killing Me' for which she won the Theater World Award for Outstanding Debut .
