The Shocking Verdict of Casey Anthony

On Tuesday I watched the live broadcast of the verdict being read for Casey Anthony. As was the case for most people, I was stunned when I heard “Not Guilty.” Poor little Caylee Anthony won’t see justice done…at least not this side of things. Facebook got very active, lots of thoughts and opinions. Most people can’t wrap their minds around the verdict but others believe the circumstantial evidence wasn’t enough and that the prosecution reached too high in making this a death penalty case. Parents Who Cross the Line

Last week I watched a very disturbing episode of Dr. Phil. It was about parents who have crossed the line when it comes to punishing their children. Most of these parents were caught on cameras committing the horrific acts. A Tale of Two Mothers

I just watched part of Diane Sawyer’s TV interview with Jaycee Dugard. She’s the woman, who was kidnapped in 1991 when she was 11 years old, and held captive for 18 years by pyscho Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy. Dugard spoke about being imprisoned in Garrido’s backyard where she was repeatedly raped as a child and later gave birth to two daughters (her first when she was just 14 years old) fathered by her sicko kidnapper.
