TMI Tweets

A lot has been said about the moral corruption of kids who think sexting is an innocent game to be played on social media sites. But, what about the parents of those kids? What role do they play? What example do they set when they too are texting minute details about their own personal lives? When Twitter was first launched in 2006, I doubt anyone could image the impact it would have on family relations. After all, who would have thought that 140-character tweets could change the way a planet full of people communicate. These days millions of people, parents … Continue reading

Does Facebook Kill Kids?

Fifty years. That’s how long a Florida mom will spend behind bars for shaking her 3-month-old son to death after his cries interrupted her FarmVille game on Facebook. A half century in prison for killing an innocent baby. Some say it’s not enough. Twenty-two-year-old Alexandra Tobias was given the sentence just last week as a judge wrapped up her murder case, which began last October. Though, I could be wrong. Still, according to a new report, a huge chunk of Twitter fans are … Continue reading

Subtitle: Katy Gets Kicked Off “Sesame Street” Last week I shared my enthusiasm for Sesame Street’s latest round of celebrity guests. Among them my childhood crush, Jason (yes, I think he’s hot) Bateman, Colin Farrell and Katy Perry. An eclectic mix for sure. Well, it was. For all of you moms and dads who have been living under a… mountain of dirty laundry, dishes and your kids’ strewn toys, I’ve got some bad or good news: Katy Perry will no longer be joining Elmo in the hood. Thanks to parental outrage that took the form of letter campaigns, emails and … Continue reading

Celebrity Twitter Secrets Revealed

Secrets? What secrets? They are the most candid celebrity couple around. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have never been shy about expressing their love for one another, but now with technology allowing anyone and everyone the ability to share tidbits of their lives 24/7, the famous husband and wife are giving the public way TMI! Like his star pal John Mayer, Kutcher is a Twitter maniac, and many believe he went too far recently when he posted an intimate photo of his movie star wife in a compromising pose with barely any clothes on. “Watching my wife steam my suit … Continue reading
